Miramichi, New Brunswick - Hours after the announcement of the results of the vote, the Member of Parliament for Miramichi Tilly O'Neill Gordon wished to thank all voters for having once again shown their confidence in her and in the efforts put forward by a Conservative Government to better the region.

"I am very proud to have been re-elected to represent citizens in the riding of Miramichi. It is an honour and I will meet the challenge posed by this new mandate with as much energy and focus as my first mandate. Since I was elected in 2008, I worked very hard to get things done for the Miramichi riding and the outcome of this election demonstrates that people appreciated what we've done here".

Mrs. O'Neill Gordon wishes to congratulate the candidates of other parties for their respective campaigns and for the spirited debates more than once throughout the campaign.

MP O'Neill Gordon has led a campaign that has not been easy.
